Sox Add Rios to Roster

MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox have added RHP Gonzalo (Gonzo) Rios to the 2018 roster. "Gonzo is a unique player and we're excited to have him bring his particular skills to the field this summer," said VP/GM Michael Mink.
Rios is a 6'2, 170lb junior majoring in Multimedia Communications at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He attended St. Genevieve High School where he lettered 2 times. Rios currently leads all ART U pitchers with 12 strikeouts over 8 innings pitched. He has a unique pitching style due to him breaking his collarbone a few years ago.
Before each game, Rios says he always has to pray. He wants all the fans to know: "I hope you enjoy my pitching style. I promise I won't let you down! Go Gold Sox!!"
