Southwest Kansas Storm News Release
The Southwest Kansas Storm won its first home league game of the season 43-42 over the Wyoming Mustangs. The Mustangs led the majority of the game but allowed a 2-yard touchdown pass with 4 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give the Storm a 43-42 lead. After running the ball out of bounds on the kickoff, the Mustangs lined up for a 47-yard game-winning field goal attempt. The kick landed in the Storm's black end zone as time expired to leave the Mustangs with the team's first loss of the season and the Storm improved to 1-1 on the year.
