Soul To Host Fourth Annual "Soul Summer Slam"

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul will host the fourth annual "Soul Summer Slam" on Saturday, August 11 in Wildwood, NJ. The event will take place on the beach across from Schellenger Avenue and will run from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bill Osborn Foundation and the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation.
Soul Summer Slam will feature live music by The Interns, Elephants Everywhere, Alex Calise and Grant Austin Taylor, performances by the Soulmates dance team, greetings by Soul coaches and players, inflatable rides for kids, food, a Coca-Cola beverage garden and more.
Also taking place at Soul Summer Slam will be a beach flag football tournament. There will be a men's 7-on-7 tournament and a co-ed 8-on-8 tournament. To register please visit www.philadelphiasoul.com and click the Summer Slam link.
The fourth annual Soul Summer Slam will be sponsored by Coastal Broadcasting's Q107 and they will be broadcasting live from the event. Other sponsors involved include Coca-Cola, The Philadelphia Sport and Social Club and the Boardwalk Bar and Grill.
Soul players, Soulmates and representatives will also be in attendance for the post-event party to be held at the Boardwalk Bar and Grill from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. Fans attending the post-event party must be 21 years of age or older
