Soul to hold open call audition for dance team

PHILADELPHIA â For the second consecutive year, the Philadelphia Soul will be holding an open call audition for the team's "Soulmates" dance squad on Saturday, November 6 at the Wachovia Center. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the audition starting at 9:30 a.m.
Dance applicants will be taught a routine at the preliminary audition and will be judged on dance ability, appearance, personality and attitude. Callbacks will be required to attend an interview session (business attire necessary) on Sunday, November 7 and a final dance audition on Tuesday, November 9.
Applicants must be 18 or older and a high school graduate. Dancers should wear two-piece dance wear including a midriff top, lycra shorts and appropriate dance footwear. There is a one-time $25 application fee and tryouts will be closed to the public. Applicants are urged to register online at www.philadelphiasoul.com or to call 1-800-431-5604 for more information.
