Soul Summer Slam to feature flag football tournament

Wednesday, August 9, will be the last day to register for the flag football tournament being held at this year's Soul Summer Slam being held on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at the Schellenger Ave. Beach in Wildwood, NJ. The tournament begins at 1 p.m. while the Summer Slam begins at 3 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Space is limited, but there are still spots available.
Also, Soul Team President Ron Jawarski and Team Ambassador Keita Crespina will help lead a team of Soul representatives as they face local Wildwood celebrities including Mayor Ernie Troiano in a game of flag football. The game will take place during the event.
One other thing the Soul will be helping out with at Summer Slam will be Alex's Lemonade Stand. With the unfortunate happenings of late, the Soul will have original Alex's Lemonade Stands on the beach in Wildwood selling lemonade with the proceeds going towards cancer research.

In between games you will have the opportunity to spend time with Soul Co-owner Ron Jaworski, Soul Players, Coaches, Team Mascot Soul Man, Dance Team Members, and Front Office Staff!
The event also features live music from "Elephants Everywhere" and "The Interns Band," a Bud Light beer garden, Soulmate performances and inflatable rides for children beginning at 3:00 pm!
Post-event Party @ Boardwalk Bar & Grill starting at 7 p.m. with live music from "Elephants Everywhere" and "Anthony Galluccio and Blankit" on the corner of Cedar & Atlantic Avenues, Wildwood.
If you are in Wildwood before the event, stop by any of the following businesses to purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a Bon Jovi Prize Pack which includes a guitar, jersey and an autographed football all signed by Jon Bon Jovi. The winner will be announced at Summer Slam, but you do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets will also be available at the Boardwalk Bar & Grill, the location of the post event party.
