
Soul Host Party Before Departure to ArenaBowl

PHILADELPHIA - The 2013 American Conference Champion Philadelphia Soul will host a "Send Off Party" for the team's departure to Orlando for ArenaBowl XXVI. The event will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Chickie and Pete's in South Philly.
At the event, both media and fans are invited to join the event to show the Soul their support as the team departs to take on the Arizona Rattlers in the ArenaBowl. Fans will have the opportunity to receive autographs and interact with the Soul team.
From 2:30-3 p.m., fans and media members will be able to talk to the players and Soulmates. From 3-3:30 p.m., the speeches by ownership and the coaching staff will take place and end with players loading the bus for the airport.
For the Soul fans that will not make the trip to Florida, the Soul will also host a watch-party in "Play 2" at the Chickie and Pete's in South Philly.
The ArenaBowl XXVI match-up between the Soul and the Rattlers will take place in Orlando on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. on CBS.
