PHILADELPHIA - The road to repeat continues this weekend as the Philadelphia Soul host the Baltimore Brigade this Saturday, April 29 at 7 p.m. in the team's home opener, presented by Independence Blue Cross. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network and 97.5 The Fanatic.
In honor of Soul owner and former Eagles Quarterback, #7 Ron Jaworski's push to bring the NFL draft to Philadelphia, fans can purchase specially priced tickets to the home opener for as low as $7. Fans of all ages can enjoy a fun night out in Philly to cheer on their champions.
Prior to kickoff, there will be a championship celebration, honoring the 2016 ArenaBowl Championship team, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the field. The 2017 team will also be introduced and fans will get to watch as the championship banner is raised in the Wells Fargo Center.
Not only does the home opener include a memorable championship celebration, but there will also be two very special guests. Super Bowl XLVII MVP Quarterback and Audubon, NJ native Joe Flacco will be the evening's Honorary Captain. ArenaBowl XXIX Champion, 2016 Defensive Lineman of the Year and current Buffalo Bills DE Jake Metz will be stopping by to be honored with his teammates and handle the Coin Toss responsibilities.
A lot of excitement surrounds the 2017 Philadelphia Soul home opener. The currently undefeated Soul team will look to continue their winning streak this Saturday and the atmosphere will be electric from start to finish.
