Philadelphia Soul News Release
PHILADELPHIA (June 17, 2015) - The Arena Football League's Philadelphia Soul welcome the return of defensive end Teddy Jennings (6'6, 260, Connecticut) back to the 2015 roster. The First Team All-Arena player will be a helpful addition for the defensive line as the Soul approach playoff season.
Jennings played a crucial role for the Soul in the 2014 season. He ranked No. 4 in the league for sacks (11.0), which also tied the franchise record for most sacks in a season. He also recorded 26.0 total tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, a blocked kick and a safety.
"Any time you can add an All-Arena performer onto your roster, you have improved your team," Soul head coach Clint Dolezel said. "He had an outstanding rookie season and he will help our pass rush as we continue to make our push toward the playoffs."
The Soul (10-2) travel to Los Angeles to face the Kiss on Saturday, June 20th at 8 p.m. (11 p.m. EST). The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
