Solomon, Storm to face Wranglers on NBC

NEW YORK – Tampa Bay Storm OS FREDDIE SOLOMON is off to a fast start to the 2004 season. Solomon, who broke Storm single-season records for receptions (106) and receiving yards (1,553) in his first full AFL season, is once again stacking up some impressive numbers through two games this year.

Solomon enters Sunday's contest against Austin with 15 catches for 185 yards and eight TDs. He caught a career-high five TDs last weekend against Georgia, hauling in eight passes for 119 yards in the process. Solomon's five TD catches are the most by a receiver this season, while his eight receiving TDs and 48 points lead the AFL. Solomon also ranks tied-No. 6 in the League in receptions (15) and tied-No. 9 in receiving yards (185).

The next challenge for Solomon and the Storm will be against the Austin Wranglers (1-0) at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas this Sunday, February 22 at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
