Knoxville Smokies News Release

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - The 2007 Tennessee Smokies home schedule begins on Wednesday April 11th, with the first game of the season to take place in Jacksonville on April 5th. The Smokies are happy to announce that tickets for the entire 2007 season will go on sale to the general public on Friday March 23rd at 9:00 am. Tickets for all 70 Smokies home games will be available for purchase at the Smokies Park ticket office, over the phone by calling the Smokies ticket office, and also on-line at www.smokiesbaseball.com.

For the first time ever, Smokies fans will have the opportunity to purchase exact seating locations for all 70 home games via our newly revamped on-line ticketing system. Thanks to a new ticketing system furnished by Streamline Technologies, Smokies fans will have the option of choosing exact seating locations for the game they wish to come to, as well as the ability to print their tickets from their home/work computer.

"Our new ticketing system gives our fans the ability to purchase tickets in a fashion they have never been able to before," said Director of Ticket Operations Kamryn Hollar. "The print-at-home feature will be a convenience that our fans will really appreciate and take advantage of this season."

All on-line ticket orders will carry a surcharge of $2 per completed ticket order, not a per ticket charge common among most other on-line ticketing services. Fans will also have the ability to request on-line orders to be mailed or held at will call as well. Log on to www.smokiesbaseball.com or call the Smokies ticket office for more information regarding on-line ticket ordering.

Opening Day at Smokies Park is April 11, 2007, presented by K-25 Federal Credit Union. Call (865) 286-2300 for more information.
