FIRE FALLS TO ALABAMA: The Fire fell behind to Alabama early on and could not recover losing to Alabama 63-47. Alabama held the Fire to just seven points in the first half. Defensively the Fire recorded three sacks and five tackles for a loss. Tiger Jones and Quorey Payne both hit the 100 yard mark in receiving and totaled five touchdowns. The Fire will now have their first bye week of the season before playing at Mahoning Valley on Derby Day.

TIGER CONTINUES STREAK: Fire rookie wide receiver Tiger Jones continued his streak of 100 yards games this weekend, now standing at four in a row. Jones is fifth in the af2 in receptions with 33, tenth in touchdowns with 7, second in yards per game with 113.0 and second in receiving yards with 452. Below is a breakdown of Jones' 2007 season totals:
