HOFFMAN ESTATES- On Friday, June 17th , the Chicago Slaughter's mascot Sarge was on hand at the Relay for Life Hoffman Estates at the Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center, 5050 Sedge Boulevard in Hoffman Estates. Sarge high-fived survivors of cancer as they walked around in their victory lap and the first lap of the 12-hour event, and also led the children along with the Chicago Express mascot, Trax, and Red Robin from the Hoffman Estates Red Robin Restaurant, to support those that are survivors or family members of those affected by cancer.
Mona Morrison of Hoffman Estates, a 12-year survivor of cancer herself, was the photographer of the Relay for Life event photos.
