Chicago Slaughter News Release
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - The Chicago Slaughter season is set to kick off this Saturday February 19, 2011 against The LaCrosse Spartans. We are excited to showcase our returning veterans and the progress they have made over the past year.

Nendick had played 37 college games at Northern Illinois University, and with that, he kicked 136-138 (PAT), 45-61 (FG-A), his career long was 52 yards, and had a grand total of 271 points.

Radtke is the all-time leader in tackles with 466 as his career spanned 2002-05, as well as being the single-season leader with 152 tackles. Radtke also has the record for most tackles in one game with 20, and in his career he had 29 pass break ups. Radtke was named 1st team All-NCAC (North Coast Atlantic Conference) in 2005, and All American, All NCAC candidate in 2007, he was also a three time all conference player.
Defensive Lineman Chris Pisani (6'4 ¬Â 250 Lbs) holds two records at Oberlin College, 22.5 career sacks, and 45 career tackles. Pisani was one of two people to go back to back 1st team All Conference. He also was All- American his junior and senior year. This is Pisani's third year with the Slaughter, and in an effort to support the team Pisani agreed to switch positions from Defensive Lineman to Linebacker. This forced him to lose 35 pounds. When asked about the position change Pisani responded, ¬ÅI am very excited about the new position, and working with the new guys. We have a handful of players that played previous years, but there is a lot of new talent and it's going to be a real exciting year. ¬Â He also added, ¬ÅI am excited to get the season started, but I am really excited to play in front of the home crowd, and excited to sign autographs for the kids after the games. ¬Â
Offensive Lineman Rasche Hill (6'6 ¬Â 335 Lbs) started his career with Northern Illinois University, from then he got drafted to the Jacksonville Jaguars where he played three season with them before he got injured. Since playing for the Jaguars Hill has played for teams in Peoria, Quad Cities, Iowa, and now our own Chicago Slaughter. When asked about starting the season Hill responded, ¬ÅI am nervous, it is a different group of guys, you always have some insecurities, but we have a good group of athletes, and a bunch of good play makers. ¬Â
