
Slam announce dance team and mascot tryout

Bellingham, WA. The ABA Bellingham Slam professional basketball team announced that they will be holding a dance team and mascot tryout next month. The tryout will take place on Thursday, September 8th at 4pm. The tryout will be held at Whatcom Pavilion on the campus of Whatcom Community College, also the venue for the Slam's home games.
The Slam will be looking for qualified, high-energy men and women with previous dance or mascot experience. Those selected for the dance team or the mascot position will be responsible for entertaining fans at Slam home games during halftime and timeouts and also at various Slam community events throughout the year.
The cost to participate in the tryout is $10 and pre-registration is required. Registration forms can be downloaded from the Slam's website at www.bellinghamslam.com.
