Sioux Falls, SD - The Reno Bighorns defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce 97-82 in a game that will air on VERSUS tonight at 10 p.m. CT. The shorthanded Skyforce only trailed by eight points (83-75) with 7:37 to go but the Bighorns went on a 9-0 run to put the game out of reach and extend their winning streak to five games.

Despite dressing only eight players Sioux Falls (10-37) hung tough in the first half and only trailed by four points (53-49) at halftime after Dominique Scales converted a lay-up at the buzzer to send 4,246 fans into a frenzy.

Sioux Falls scored the first four points of the second half to tie the game but Reno (31-16) responded with a 13-0 run to take a 66-53 lead. Stephen McDowell nailed a 3-pointer to get Sioux Falls within single digits (83-75) but Reno pushed the lead to as many as 17 points and handed Sioux Falls a loss in their final home game of the 2010-11 campaign.

Marcus Landry posted a game-high 27 points to go along with eight rebounds. Bobby Simmons recorded a double-double (17 points, 13 rebounds) while Patrick O'Bryant and Anthony Richardson added 12 points apiece. Golden State Warriors assignee Jeremy Lin recorded 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists in a reserve role.

Sean Marshall posted his first double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Raymond Sykes scored 14 points and eight rebounds while Dominique Coleman and Keaton Grant added 11 apiece.

Reno returns home to face Austin on Tuesday at 7 p.m. PT. Sioux Falls visits Erie on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT.
