Sky Sign Center Avery Warley; Sharneé Zoll-Norman Waived

CHICAGO, September 11, 2013 - The Chicago Sky have waived reserve point guard Sharneé Zoll-Norman and announced the signing of Avery Warley. Warley will join the team immediately as the Sky's reserve center.

The Sky signed Warley as a replacement player on August 3. She played 11 games, averaging 1.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, with Chicago. Warley started the 2013 season at the Washington Mystics' training camp before joining the New York Liberty.

With the Liberty, she averaged 3.0 points and 4.9 rebounds in eight game appearances. Zoll-Norman, a 5-7 guard, was a free agent signed by the Sky on February 18, 2013. She played in 19 games during the 2013 season, missing 12 after injuring her thumb against the Washington Mystics on July 24. Zoll-Norman set career highs in points (6), steals (2), field goals (3) and minutes (21) while at the Sky.

The Sky take on Brittney Griner and the Phoenix Mercury for their final "Three To See" match up of the season at Allstate Arena on Wednesday evening for Bulls Night. The 7 p.m. CT game will air on ESPN2.
