Sky Blue FC News Release
Tinton Falls, N.J. - Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that it has partnered with Bianca's Kids, a New Jersey based nonprofit organization that grants wishes to foster and needy children throughout the state and country.
"We are very proud to announce this partnership with Bianca's Kids," said Tony Novo, Sky Blue FC President & General Manager. "The initiative behind the organization is one that we fully support, and we look forward to assisting them in their mission of bringing happiness to many deserving children."
Bianca's Kids was established in 2010 in memory of Bianca Yodice, whose driving passion for children inspired her family to create an organization that grants wishes to foster and needy children. The foundation is based in southern New Jersey, and it has granted nearly 11,000 wishes to many different children since its inception.
"We're really excited to partner with Sky Blue FC," said Nick McCormick, a Director at Bianca's Kids. "As a New Jersey based nonprofit, Bianca's Kids loves to work with local organizations to help make wishes come true!"
As part of the relationship, Sky Blue FC will be honoring Bianca's Kids when the team hosts the Western New York Flash at Yurcak Field on Saturday, May 7th. Kickoff for that match is set for 7:00 PM, and tickets are available for purchase now.
