Sky Blue FC News Release
Howell, N.J. - Sky Blue FC and Budweiser have partnered up to enhance the gameday experience by providing fans the return of the beer garden at Yurcak Field, now officially named the "Budweiser Beer Garden", set to debut on Wednesday, August 14th at Sky Blue's home game against the Chicago Red Stars.
The National Women's Soccer League announced on July 7th that Budweiser has become the official beer sponsor of the NWSL. This deal with Budweiser is one of NWSL's biggest sponsors with naming right to the playoffs, the championship, the MVP trophy, and the "Most Valuable Supporter" award. More from this announcement can be found here.
"As we were going through a change-over with our beer garden vendor at Yurcak Field, it made perfect sense to reach out to our partner Budweiser to explore how we could work together on this project," stated Interim General Manager Alyse LaHue. "While I enjoyed the camaraderie shared in our tailgate area on July 24th, I'm thrilled that our beer garden is officially returning to our games at Yurcak!"
Sky Blue will be hosting Sam Kerr, Julie Ertz and the Chicago Red Stars at Yurcak Field August 14th at 7:30 p.m. ET. On August 18th Sky Blue FC will take on Megan Rapinoe and Reign FC at Red Bull Arena at 1 p.m. ET.
Tickets to all Sky Blue FC home games are available now by calling 888-SBFC-TIX or by visiting skybluefc.com. All fans at the game will receive a Sky Blue FC game day program with player poster insert.
