
Sky Blue FC Announces 2021 Open Tryouts

Harrison, NJ - Sky Blue FC will hold open tryouts ahead of the 2021 National Women's Soccer League season. The tryouts will be held outdoors on two days, January 7 and January 8, 2021, at Red Bulls Training Facility in Whippany, New Jersey. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place throughout the tryout.
COVID-19 safety precautions in effect will limit the number of participants and divide the session into two groups. Additional protocols in place require trialists to complete a health screening questionnaire before arrival, submit to temperature checks upon arrival, and wear a face mask throughout the tryout.
There will be two groups on day one, January 7, to comply with the COVID-19 safety protocols. Group A will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET while Group B will start at 11:00 a.m. ET. Day 2, January 8, will be invite-only and run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET. Players must provide their own boots and gear suitable for outdoor turf surface.
All players interested in partaking in the open tryouts must register by Monday, January 4, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Due to the limited amount of participants, all interested trialists must fill out a pre-registration form here. Approved trialists will be contacted to continue the registration. The cost of the tryout for approved trialists is $100.00. Participants must sign a liability waiver and provide proof of valid health insurance to participate. Also, participants must have turned 18 by January 7, 2021.
Day One: Thursday, January 7
Group A - 9:00 a.m. ET - 10:30 a.m. ET
Group B - 11:00 a.m. ET - 12:30 p.m. ET
Day Two: Friday, January 8 (Invite-Only)
Session - 10:00 a.m. ET - noon ET
