Nashua Silver Knights News Release

NASHUA, NH - It was a banner year off the field for the Nashua Silver Knights as they set a new franchise attendance record with 34,249 fans in 25 openings for an average of 1,370 fans.

Nashua finished second in attendance in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League trailing only the Brockton Rox, who averaged 1,590 fans.

The previous Nashua record was set last season with 28,125 fans in 25 openings for an average of 1,125 fans.

Also, this season the Silver Knights set a single-game attendance record on Friday, August 2nd with a crowd of 2,713 fans. Nashua had the second highest attendance in team history on Saturday, July 20th with a then record crowd of 2,670.

"We are very thankful to have such a great fan base and tremendous community support," said Silver Knights President Tim Bawmann.

"The ability to play in a top-notch facility in Holman Stadium is a huge coo. Our front office works extremely hard. We receive great support from the City of Nashua. Without everyone involved setting an attendance record wouldn't have been possible this year. We are very thankful and look forward to an even bigger future."
