
Silver Knights GM, Ronnie Wallace, Named FCBL Executive of the Year

Chelmsford, MA - The Nashua Silver Knights General Manager, Ronnie Wallace, has been named the Futures Collegiate Baseball League's 2016 Executive of the Year. The announcement was made by Futures League commissioner, Chris Hall, as part of the league's annual post-season awards. The Futures League awards are voted on by personnel from each of the league's ten member clubs.
In connection with announcing Wallace as Executive of the Year, Commissioner Hall said, "Ronnie worked through several off-season front office changes to make 2016 the most successful in Silver Knights history. " Hall continued, "He has a tremendous work ethic with a passion for baseball, community and for the fan experience which makes Nashua as one of the best franchises in the country."
Under Wallace's leadership, during the Nashua Silver Knights sixth season, the ball club won it's third championship. Besting the back to back champion Worcester Bravehearts in the best-of-three championship series. The Silver Knights attendance increased by 10 percent averaging 1,334 fans per night placing them in the Top 40 in the country.
Wallace and Cheryl Lindner (Silver Knights Assistant General Manager) worked with several non-profits in the Greater Nashua community to raise awareness and thousands of dollars including Veterans Count and the Adam Keenan Scholarship.
Wallace is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he played baseball for four years. He begin his career with the Lowell Spinners in 2012 as an intern. The following season, 2013, he served as the Silver Knights Food and Beverage manager. He was named the Silver Knights General Manager in the Fall of 2013.
