Friday

Richmond Raiders (4-4) at Carolina Speed (1-7) - After three straight losses Raiders battling to stay in the SIFL playoff race . . . Since season opening injury to QB Bryan Randall three QBs have suited up for Raiders. Mike Potts (9 TDs/7 INTS) gets third start against Speed . . . Speed have now dropped four in a row to fall to 1-7. Carolina's Cooter Arnold ranks 9th in the SIFL in All-Purpose Yards with 120.5 per game.

Harrisburg Stampede (2-7) at Trenton Steel (5-4) - Stampede Kicker J.R. Cipra earned his second Special Teams Player of the Week honor for his 23-point performance against the Speed last weekend . . . Harrisburg is 2-1 since Josh Resignalo took over as Head Coach mid-season . . . The Steel currently hold Northern Conference's fourth and final playoff spot . . . Trenton QB E.J. Nemeth leads SIFL with 278.9 passing yards per game.

Fayetteville Force (3-5) at Erie Explosion (7-2) - Erie earned a key victory in the SIFL Northern playoff race by defeating the Steel 90-79 . . . Adam DiMichelle tossed a record 12 TDs in the win over Trenton and WR Kevin Concepcion pulled in seven TD receptions . . . After 3-0 start Force have dropped five straight . . . The Force's Jerome Mann ranks 9th in the SIFL with 4.6 tackles per game.

Louisiana Swashbucklers (7-2) vs. Abilene Ruff Riders (3-6) - Swashbucklers look to rebound after tough 64-57 loss at Houston Stallions (9-0) . . . Louisiana leads SIFL with 69.5 rushing yards per game and the Swashbucklers Kendrick Perry tops league with 47.5 rushing yards per game . . . Abilene still in contention for one of four playoff spots in the south . . . Ruff Riders David Irizarry third in SIFL with six interceptions.

Albany Panthers (7-1) vs. Alabama Hammers (3-5) - Panthers need one more win to tie last season's mark of eight victories . . . Albany's Cecil Lester now ranks sixth in SIFL with 238.4 passing yards per game . . . Hammers' Charles McClain is second in league with 144.8 all-purpose yards per game. Alabama's Bill Ashburn has 223.8 passing yards per game, good for 8th in the SIFL.
