
SIFL Names Players of the Week
June 2, 2011 - Southern Indoor Football League (SIFL) News Release
LAKE CHARLES, La. - The Southern Indoor Football League has named its Players of The Week for games played over Memorial Day weekend.
OFFENSE - Damon Harrison, Trenton Steel - Harrison caught nine passes for 141 yards and 5 touchdowns in Trenton's key victory over Erie and added a sixth touchdown on a kickoff return.
DEFENSE- Demetrius McCray, Albany Panthers and Leon Foster, Columbus Lions- McCray Had a team-high 4.5 tackles and a 38-yard interception returns as the Panthers kept pace with Columbus by defeating Richmond. Foster had two sacks - one for a safety- as the Lions defeated Alabama for the third time this season.
SPECIAL TEAMS - Craig Camay, Trenton Steel - Was 10-10 on PATs and made a field goal as Trenton downed Erie.
