SIFL Announces Players Of The Week

LAKE CHARLES, La. - The Southern Indoor Football League released its Players Of The Week for the fourth week of the regular season recently concluded.

Winners are as follows:

OFFENSE: Ben McLaughlin, Louisiana Swashbuckers. Threw for 285 yards and tied the SIFL record with 9 TD passes to lead LA to a 73-32 victory over the Mobile Bay Tarpons. LA has won three straight game after a season-opening loss.

DEFENSE: KaMichael Hall, Houston Stallions. Registered two sacks and closed out the Stallions' record scoring night with a 22-yard interception return as Houston throttled the Abilene Ruff Riders 89-27. The Stallions' defense registered five sacks and four a a -- 2 sacks and 22-yard INT return as Houston remained undefeated.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Trey Crump, K, Columbus Lions. Kicked a 27-yard field goal as time expired a Columbus came from behind to beat the Fayetteville Force. Crum's only misses this season are beyond 48 yards.

Week 5 of the SIFL regular begins with three games on Friday.
