
Sidekicks Lose Weekend Doubleheader to Milwaukee Wave

Milwaukee, WI - The Dallas Sidekicks faced the Milwaukee Wave for the second time this season.
Kristian Quintana scored the first goal of the game for the Sidekicks at the two-minute mark. Seven minutes later, Milwaukee responded with a goal by Troy Morrison. Milwaukee then gained the lead with a goal by Derek Huffman at the 12-minute mark. Late into the quarter, Sidekicks Head Coach received two yellow cards which resulted in him receiving a red card. Going into the second quarter, the score was 1-2.
Two minutes into the second quarter, Sidekicks player Flavio Guzman tied up the game at 2. One minute later, Milwaukee gained the lead again with a goal by Alex Sanchez. At the seven-minute mark, Vcmor Eligwe tied up the game. Sidekicks player, Blas Pérez grabbed the lead by scoring a goal one minute after Eligwe's goal. Two minutes later, Milwaukee tied it back up at 4 with a goal by Alex Bradley.
Milwaukee added onto their scoring streak from the second quarter with a goal by Slavador Nunez and Mario Alvarez at the 2-minute mark. Two minutes later, Sidekicks player Ahmed Zaky ended the Milwaukee scoring streak. One minute later, Javier Steinwascher from Milwaukee scored making the score 5-7. Blas Pérez then scored his second goal of the game at the 8-minute mark. Milwaukee player, Troy Morrison scored the final goal of the quarter making the score 6-8.
52 seconds into the fourth quarter, Milwaukee player Derek Huffman scored a powerplay goal. Slavador Nunez added two more goals to Milwaukee's total making the score 6-11. Sidekicks quickly responded back when they used Jamie Lovegrove as the 6th attacker with two goals by Bradlee Baladez and Flavio Guzman. However, the possibilities of a Sidekicks comeback disappeared as Milwaukee capitalized on their lead with two more goals which were scored by Marcio Leite and Taylor Pill. The final score of the game was 8-13.
The Sidekicks are back at home on Sunday, March 26th at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center for Green Out. Kickoff is at 3 PM. Tickets are ON SALE NOW at dallassidekicks.com/tickets.
