Richmond Renegades News Release

The Richmond Renegades today announced that forward DENNIS SICARD has been traded to the Huntsville Havoc for defenseman DYLAN ROW and the rights to MIKE TUOMI.

Sicard started the season with the Tulsa Oilers of the CHL appearing in 27 games with one goal and one assist to go with 79 PIMs. He has played in 21 games for the Renegades scoring 2 goals and six assists and accumulated 79 PIMs.

Row, a 5' 10" defenseman from Manitoba, Canada has spent 19 games this season with the New Mexico Scorpions of the CHL accumulating 8 assists and 26 PIMs. In 31 games with the Havoc during the 2008-09 season he has 2 goals and eleven assists to go with 33 PIMs. The 190# hard hitting Row is in his 3rd year as a pro having played in Twin City, Fayetteville and with the Port Huron Flags of the then UHL. The Renegades also secured the rights to forward Mike Tuomi, rights they thought they had in an earlier trade.

"Dennis is a fan favorite and played hard for the Renegades," stated Allan B. Harvie, Jr., team President/GM. " However our need right now is to shore up our defense for the final 8 games and the playoffs and Dylan fits in with that need. We wish Dennis all the best in the future and thank him for the great memories he gave us and our fans."

The Renegades continue their month long road trip with a game in Twin City this Friday and onto Fayetteville on Saturday night. They return to the Coliseum on Friday, March 13th for the first of 3 final regular season games in a promotion "SAVE THE GADES - PACK THE COLISEUM." The Renegades have lowered upper level seats to $5 and lower level to $10 in an effort to sell out all three games. For details call the Renegades office at 804-644-7825.
