Series Notes:
-Colorado's Adam Chorneyko leads all rookies in playoff scoring with two goals and seven assists (nine points). Chorneyko has been an even or plus in seven of the Eagles eight playoff games so far.
-Eagle goalie Andrew Penner is 5-1 in the post-season with a league-best 1.78 goals against average and a .935 save percentage (second in the league). Penner was below .500 during the regular season at 11-12-0 with a 3.45 goals against average.
-Colorado went 9-3-0 during the regular season against the Rush outscoring them 46-29. In a third of the games, the Eagles forced a goaltending move by the Rush during the game.
-The Eagles are 3-1 on the road in this year's playoffs allowing just seven goals against (1.75 GAA).
-Rapid City has yet to lose a game on home ice during this year's playoffs and overall have won seven straight home games at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Arena. In their two year post-season history, the Rush are 11-3 in the friendly confines.
-Rapid City's Les Reaney (the 2010 CHL Playoff Most Valuable Player) has 15 goals and 23 assists (38 points) in 25 career CHL post-season games with the Rush.
-A pair of Rush players are quite familiar with the Eagles as this year's leading scorer in the playoffs for the Rush, Konrad Reeder (13 points), played with Colorado for the 2008-09 season accumulating 70 points (31-39=70) and goaltender Tim Boron started this season with the Eagles before being released and played with the team during the 2006-07 season helping them win the Presidents' Cup (won the Cup winning game in the Finals series against Laredo).
-Rapid City defenseman Dave Grimson leads all remaining blue liners in scoring with nine points (3-6=9).

Series Notes:
-In just two professional seasons, Allen goaltender Chris Whitley has already amassed 16 post-season wins (6-2 this playoff season), a 2.82 goals against average and a .914 save percentage. In his CHL playoff career, Whitley is 3-2 in Game 1's with a 2.01 goals against average and a .943 save percentage.
-Jarret Lukin leads all Allen players in scoring during the post-season with 11 points (4-7=11). He is currently on a four-game point streak with three goals and eight assists over that stretch.
-Judd Blackwater leads Allen with six goals in the playoffs, half of which have served as game winners. Overall, Blackwater has eight points (6-2=8) and is tied for the team lead with a +6.
-Allen's power play has scored the fewest PP goals of the four remaining teams (6) and has the lowest PP percentage of the four squads connecting 15.8% of the time. The Americans penalty kill though is second in the league allowing just four scores in 37 chances (89%).
- ¬ËBugs goaltender John DeCaro is 5-1 in the playoffs with a 2.00 goals against average and a .932 save percentage.
-The Mudbugs/Americans series has a different format as one of Bossier-Shreveport's home games will be played in Allen due to building availability issues at the CenturyTel Center. The series is a 2-3-2 format with Game 3 (considered a ¬ËBugs home game) being played at the Allen Event Center.
-Amateur forward Nick Layton has scored two goals with four assists (six points) in eight post-season games after joining the team following his season at the University of New Brunswick. Layton is tied for the league lead with a +6 plus/minus rating.
-Mudbugs forward David Rutherford leads all skaters with 47 shots on goal during the playoffs and has nine points (4-5=9) in nine playoff games. Rutherford led Bossier-Shreveport in the regular season with 35 goals.
