The Scarborough Shooting Stars of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Monday that they have re-signed Danilo Djuricic.

The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 11.6 minutes per game through 17 games with the Scarborough Shooting Stars last season. Djuricic returns for his fourth season with the Shooting Stars, previously playing two seasons for Brno of the Czech Republic (2021/22 and 2022/23).

The Harvard alum averaged 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds through 91 games over three seasons with the Crimson. He helped Harvard to two consecutive Ivy League championships and berths into the NIT during his freshman and sophomore years.

Djuricic will join new teammates Jayden Coke, Khalil Miller, Kobe Elvis as well as 2025 CEBL Draft picks David Walker, Koat Thomas and Samuel Wong.

The Scarborough Shooting Stars will kick off their 2025 season on Sunday May 25 at CAA Centre against the Brampton Honey Badgers. Scarborough will then host the Ottawa BlackJacks at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre for their first home game on Tuesday May 27.
