TULSA, Okla. (April 28, 2010) - In order to make room for new arrivals to training camp, the Tulsa Shock trimmed Kim Sitzmann, Moniquee Alexander, Danielle Green and Brittany Gilliam from their training camp roster today.

All four players survived tryouts and free agent camp to just make it to training camp. Juanita Ward is now the only tryout player remaining with the team.

Each team in the Women's National Basketball Association is only permitted to have 15 players on its training camp roster at any given time. The roster must be trimmed to 11 by opening night on May 15.

Veteran, Kara Braxton, arrived in camp today after missing the first three days for personal reasons. Braxton averaged 9.6 points and 6.8 rebounds in 18 minutes of playing time off the bench in Detroit last year.

The Shock also signed five-year veteran, Christi Thomas on Wednesday. Thomas, a 6-3 center on the Minnesota Lynx last year, only appeared in 11 games in 2009, averaging six minutes of playing time.

Chante Black and Amber Holt are expected to arrive in training camp this weekend. The Shock acquired Black and Holt in a draft day deal in which they sent their seventh pick in the 2010 Draft and second round pick in 2011 to the Connecticut Sun.
