TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa Shock signed guard Brittany Hrynko today.

Hrynko (pronounced RINK-oh) was drafted 19th overall by the Connecticut Sun in the 2015 WNBA Draft but was traded to Atlanta on draft day for Jasmine Thomas. She was then released by Atlanta and signed with the San Antonio Stars before the start of the season. Hrynko played in five games for San Antonio and recorded two points and an assist in 15 minutes of playing time.

The 5-8 rookie out of DePaul University was released by the Stars on July 5 and was signed by the Shock off of waivers. She is scheduled to join the team this week and be in uniform for the Shock's home game this Saturday.

The Shock plays the Atlanta Dream tonight in Atlanta. The game is being telecast live on ESPN 2 with coverage beginning at 7 p.m. CST.

The Shock's next home game is this Saturday night, July 11 versus the Los Angeles Sparks at the BOK Center. The game is the annual Dads and Daughters game. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. For more information visit www.tulsashock.net or call 918-949-9700.
