TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock has released Angel Goodrich from its training camp roster today. Goodrich played in two pre-season games and had four points, a rebound and five assists.
Goodrich played college basketball at Kansas and was drafted in the third round of the 2013 WNBA Draft. In her rookie season of 2013, Goodrich played in 31 games, averaged 4.4 points per game and three assists per game. Last season Goodrich played in 29 games.
The Shock's roster currently stands at 14 and must be trimmed to 12 players on or before June 3. Tulsa opens the 2015 season in Minnesota against the Lynx on June 5. The game will be televised on Cox channels in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
The Shock's first home game of the 2015 season is Saturday, June 6 versus the Chicago Sky at 7:00 p.m. CST at the BOK Center. Tickets are on sale now at www.tulsashock.net or by calling 918-949-9700.
