
Shock Partner With American Red Cross to Assist Tornado Victims

Tulsa, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock and the BOK Center have partnered with the American Red Cross to assist in the Moore, OK tornado relief efforts. The Shock and the BOK Center will be accepting donations at the BOK Center Thursday, May 23 through Sunday, May 26 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the box office located on 3rd Street between Denver and Frisco.
Items being collected for donations are:
Bottles of Water
Gatorade
Small Bottle of SPF 30 Sunblock
Large Emergency Flashlights with Batteries
First Aid Kits (various sizes and those designed for vehicles)
Work Gloves
Phone Chargers (compatible with various Android and Blackberry phones)
Mosquito Repellant
Sanitizer Hand Wipes
Clear Safety Gloves
The Shock will also hold a silent auction during the game on Monday, May 27 at 2 p.m. against the Washington Mystics. All proceeds from the auction will be given to the American Red Cross to be used for the Moore, OK tornado relief. Donations to relief efforts will also be accepted prior to the game on Monday, May 27. The Tulsa Shock players, coaches and staff will deliver all donated items to Moore, OK on Tuesday, May 28.
