FRISCO, TEXAS - The North American Hockey League announced today the field for the second tournament of this season's NAHL Midget Showcase Series, which will be held Dec. 13-16 at The Summit Center in Chesterfield, Mo., home of the St. Louis Bandits.

"Once again, we've assembled a competitive field that is sure to challenge the players on the ice, as well as give them plenty of exposure to all the NAHL and college coaches and scouts that are sure to be in attendance," said NAHL commissioner Mark Frankenfeld.

The qualifying teams - 12 in the Midget Major division (U18) and 8 in the Midget Minor (U16) - are listed alphabetically below.

Any team that applied for the second Midget Showcase Series event but did not qualify will remain on the waiting list, have its application fee refunded, and/or have its application transferred to the third and final NAHL Midget Showcase Series tournament, which has been scheduled for Feb. 15-18, 2008 at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Mich., home of the U.S. National Team Development Program.
