San Diego Loyal SC (SD Loyal) is back on the road this week as it travels north to face Orange County SC. These teams met Aug. 12 in San Diego and Orange County SC came away with a 2-0 win.

MATCH PREVIEW:
The last time SD Loyal faced Orange County SC it was creating pressure, attacking the visitors, looking for a score. But it was the visitors who took advantage with counter attacks and found two second half goals. Coach Landon Donovan wants his team to finish plays after moving up the two thirds of the field. His team will get an opportunity for that against one of the hottest teams in Group B. SD Loyal comes in without a win since July 25 and Orange County SC was on a roll going unbeaten for five games before losing 3-1 to Las Vegas Lights FC Tuesday night. The loss keeps Orange County SC in second place with a 4-1-2 record and 14 points, behind Phoenix Rising FC. SD Loyal comes into Saturday's match with a 3-4-2 record and 11 points, riding a three-game losing streak. A win against its rival from the next county in the north could put Donovan's team back in contention for the No. 2 position in the standings.
