SD Loyal Announces Broadcast Partnership with Fox 5 San Diego, Broadcast Talent

San Diego, CA - San Diego Loyal SC (SD Loyal) announces its second-ever season will air locally on Fox 5 San Diego, the club's English language broadcast partner. This announcement follows the announcement last week that Entravision's TV Azteca Canal 33 will serve as the club's official Spanish language partner. Select matches determined by the USL Championship will broadcast nationally on ESPN networks.

In addition to announcing broadcast details, the team is excited to welcome their broadcast talent for SD Loyal's 2021 season. Jack Cronin will return to serve as Play-by-Play Announcer after over 14 years' experience calling various sports at the University of San Diego as well as the California State Soccer Championships for Spectrum Sports. Cronin also works as an anchor and reporter at NewsRadio 600 KOGO, hosting San Diego's Evening News and the Darren & Jack Show every weeknight. Aside from duties as SD Loyal's Senior Advisor, Hall of Famer and World Cup and Olympic champion, Shannon Mac Millan will return to serve as the Primary Analyst.

Complementing the TV broadcast talent, "Matchday Live" will air on SD Loyal's YouTube channel and "Matchday Live En Español" will air on SD Loyal's Facebook Live before and after matches. Fans are encouraged to watch and engage with "Matchday Live" hosts (Jordan Carruth and Darren Smith) and "Matchday Live En Español" (Ricardo "Pony" Jimenez, Brandon Ambiz and Elias Awad) who will be live from Torero Stadium during home games, and on location at local restaurants, breweries and bars.

KSWB-TV (FOX 5), Nexstar Broadcasting's San Diego television station, will televise thirteen of the first fifteen matches of San Diego Loyal soccer games, with eleven games featured on the top-rated FOX television network affiliate and three games on Antenna TV. Furthermore, all thirteen matches will be available for streaming through the FOX 5 app. The full schedule will be available in the coming weeks.
