
Scott Pensivy, PT, LAT, ATC Joins Sin City Blackjacks' Medical Advisory Board

Sin City Blackjacks today announced that Scott Pensivy, PT, LAT, ATC has joined its Medical Advisory Board. This appointment coincides with the Sin City Blackjacks recent announcement that it is entering the Las Vegas market with its professional indoor football team and the American Indoor Football Association. Wendy Wood, MBA, Medical Consultant of the Sin City Blackjacks formed the Medical Advisory Board.
"A large percentage of Las Vegas' athlete population have been treated by Scott and the positive results are amazing," said Sin City Blackjacks' General Manager and Head Coach, Anthony Bartley. "Scott is the man with a master plan. He is the preferred therapist that I recommend to all athletes."
"I have seen lots of PTs provide substandard care in Las Vegas, and they come and go, but Scott is the standard of care," said Wendy Wood, MBA, Sin City Blackjacks' Medical Consultant. About Scott Pensivy, PT, LAT, ATC
Scott Pensivy - P.T., LAT, ATC, CEO and owner of S.P.O.R.T.S., has been a resident of Las Vegas for 24 years. Mr. Pensivy graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science in physical therapy from University of New England. Shortly thereafter he became a certified athletic trainer. Mr. Pensivy has been practicing in the outpatient physical therapy arena for 24 years. When he arrived in Las Vegas he practiced at S.T.A.R. Physical Therapy, becoming one of five owners. S.T.A.R. was later purchased by NOVA CARE Physical Therapy. Mr. Pensivy then put his vision and passion for helping others into action by opening his own state of the art outpatient facility, named S.P.O.R.T.S., an acronym for Scott Pensivy Orthopedic Rehabilitation Therapy Services. Mr. Pensivy is one of only three PRRT Practitioners in the state of Nevada. PRRT (Primal Reflex Release Technique) is an innovative method of physical therapy that allows for quick assessment and treatment by down regulating the sympathetic system. The results are quite remarkable. In conjunction with the PGA tour, Mr. Pensivy developed "Golf Conditioning" a strengthening and conditioning program for golfers that emphasized the biomechanics of the golf swing. In partnership with a company named Longevity, Mr. Scott Pensivy was able to launch a revolutionary Anti-Pain and Rehabilitation System trademarked THE PENSIVY METHOD and promotes his cream Rehab 1000. His system facilitates and greatly improves sprains, strains, and many other orthopedic musculoskeletal problems. Mr. Pensivy has published several articles in research magazines for sports medicine and injuries, as well as co-authoring a book, titled Backwords.
Scott Pensivy continues to provide optimal care for physical therapy patients. Mr. Pensivy has had the fortunate opportunity to treat several professional athletes in the NFL, CBA, NHL, WNBA, IHL, SPGA, UFC, the ABL league, LPGA, and the PGA, along with other amateur athletes. Mr. Pensivy also worked on the set of the movie "Lucky You", providing physical therapy to the actors and actresses.
Because Mr. Pensivy's number one passion is helping people who are in pain, he continues to find new innovative techniques that provide impressive results. He is willing to think "outside the box" and constantly educate himself in order to help his patient's live a pain free life.
In his free time Scott Pensivy enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years and their three children. He aslo enjoys working out, playing basketball, reading, and researching new techniques to improve patient outcomes.
