
Scorpions to announce staff changes, affiliation agreement

[RIO RANCHO, N.M.]- The New Mexico Scorpions, proud member of the Central Hockey League (CHL), will hold a press conference on Tuesday, August 22 at 2 p.m. at Boston's The Gourmet Pizza, 4300 The 25 Way in Albuquerque.
All media members and Scorpions fans are invited to attend as the Scorpions will make a major announcement of changes to the staff and affiliation agreement for the 2006-07 season. After the press conference attendees will be invited to partake in a complimentary lunch provided by Boston's.
Media members attending will be able to interview with key members of the Scorpions staff. President Dave Ellett, Head Coach Ray Edwards and the new staff member will be made available immediately after the press conference for one-on-one interviews.
The Scorpions will christen the new state-of-the-art Santa Ana Star Center on Friday, October 27 when they face the Arizona Sundogs at 7:35 p.m. This season the Scorpions feature 22 weekend home games.
