
Scorcia Named Pro Hockey News Player of the Month

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Danbury Titans forward John Scorcia has been selected as the Pro Hockey News Player of the Month for January.
Scorcia tallied 6 goals and 15 assists for 21 points in 12 games for Danbury during the month.
Danbury put together a 6-1-0-4 record with Scorcia in the line up, and Scorcia finding the scoresheet in all but one contest. He recorded multiple point games in six of twelve contests with his best effort coming during 7-6 win over the Brewster Bulldogs where he recorded one goal and four assists with a +2 rating.
A Salve Regina University product, Scorcia recorded 40 goals, 65 assists for 105 points in four seasons played.
The 25-year-old, Hudson Florida native currently sits sixth in FHL scoring with 13 goals, 32 assists and a plus/minus of +24.
In recognition of his achievement, Scorcia will be presented with a gift from Pro Hockey News.
