
San Jose Earthquakes Forward Chris Wondolowski Named MLS Player of the Week

NEW YORK (October 11, 2010) - San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for Week 28 of the 2010 MLS season. Wondolowski scored two goals in the Earthquakes' 2-0 win over D.C. United on Saturday at RFK Stadium. With the victory, San Jose clinched their first playoff berth since rejoining MLS in 2008.
