San Francisco Dragons Announce "Name Our Mascot" Contest

San Francisco, CA - The San Francisco Dragons of Major League Lacrosse announced today its new mascot with be attending its home opener May 28, 2006 and are calling on "kids at heart" of all ages to help its friendly dragon come find an appropriate name.
The mascot will not only be a supporting member of the San Francisco Dragons lacrosse team that plays at Kezar Stadium, but will also be a member of the San Francisco Bay Area community being very visible, especially to children.
His name is very important to him and to the team. The contest is open to all and the person who submits the entry that is ultimately chosen by the Dragons will receive two (2) season tickets presented to you by (you know who!) - delivery to local entries of course!
Fans are encouraged to enter as often as they'd like before May 16th, and the winner will be chosen by the Dragons staff on May 18, 2006!
Contest Rules: Contest ends at 8:00 PM (Pacific Time) May 16th. All entries become the sole property of the San Francisco Dragons. If there are multiple entries of the winning name, the first entry received will be deemed the winner. No purchase necessary to enter.
About the San Francisco Dragons
The San Francisco Dragons, Northern California's newest professional sports franchise, will begin its inaugural season in May of 2006 as a member of the 10-team Major League Lacrosse (MLL) league. The Dragons, based at historic Kezar Stadium's 9,044-seat track & field facility, will provide fun, affordable family entertainment showcasing America's "fastest growing team sport" in addition to becoming the foremost resource for the lacrosse community.
