Salmon Kings Announce Summer Contest

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, are happy to announce their "Travelling Marmot Contest", which will kick-off next Monday, July 12th with chances for fans to win great weekly and grand prizes.
Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed Marty the Marmot doll or any Salmon Kings' gear on their summer vacation and photograph themselves at their destination showcasing their Salmon Kings loyalty! Photo entries will be accepted online beginning next Monday, July 12th while the contest will close on Friday, September 10th.
Each week, fan submissions will be posted on the Salmon Kings' website with weekly prizes being awarded. Three lucky fans will have their photographs chosen as the contest winners with special prizes courtesy of the Salmon Kings and Uniglobe Travel Western Canada available! The Salmon Kings open the 2010-11 season on Friday, October 15th in Idaho with a two-game set versus the defending National Conference champion Steelheads. Victoria returns home to open up their schedule at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre with a three-game set versus the Ontario Reign beginning Wednesday, October 27th.
