Saint John Mill Rats Partner with YMCA for Summer Basketball Camps

(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats and the YMCA are proud to announce they will be partnering again to host a series of week long summer basketball camps, presented by Rogers.
"As a Y, we promote healthy practices year round and together this summer, we will provide children with the opportunity to get active while they develop or learn new skills and participate in fun and engaging activities", said Adrienne Boudreau, Vice President, Wellness, Camping and Community Centres for the YMCA.
Campers will learn skills from the pros, including but not limited to:
Passing
Shooting
Ball handling
Agility
Offensive 1 on 1 moves
Defensive Drills
Physical Conditioning
*Each camper will receive a t-shirt and a water bottle

ALL CAMPS
Price: $160/week
Times: 9am-3pm
Two camps will be held at the Quispamsis Memorial Arena. These are referred to as Mill Rats Camp 2 in the Summer Day Camp Brochures.
Dates: July 16th - 20th
Dates: August 20th - 24th
Ages: 8-12 yrs old
One camp will be held at Forest Glen C.C.
Dates: July 23rd - 27th
Two camps will be held at the Millidgeville C.C. These are referred to as Mill Rats Camp 3 in the Y Summer Day Camp Brochures.
Dates: July 9th - 13th
Dates: July 23rd - 27th
Dates: August 13th - 17th
Ages: 5-12 years
These camps will be held in addition to the week long camp, presented by Rogers, being held at Harbour Station from July 16 - July 20.
Session One:
Ages: 6-12 (boys & girls)
Times: 9am to 3pm
Cost: $225 per camper pre-paid & registered online by June 30
$265 per camper after June 30
Session Two:
Ages: 13-19 (boys & girls)
Times: 5pm to 8:30pm
Cost: $160 per camper pre-paid & registered online by June 30
$200 per camper after June 30
