RIVER CATS NOTES
The Sacramento River Cats won tonight's game, 6-4...they are now 28-24 on the road, 11-11 in two-run games, 18-25 when their opponent scores first, and 30-19 when committing no errors...Sacramento is now 8-2 in their last 10 games.
The River Cats pitching staff allowed three home runs, their eighth time this season allowing three-or-more longballs in a game...they are now 2-6 in such games, with their only other win being July 2 at El Paso.
Cesar Perdomo was the starter and earned his second win of the season...allowed four runs on eight hits (career-high-tying 3 HR), with three walks and five strikeouts in 5.0 innings and a season-high 91 pitches...allowed multiple home runs for the fourth time this season and first time with Sacramento...has allowed 18 runs (15 earned) on 29 hits, including four home runs, in 15.2 innings across four starts with the River Cats.
Carson Seymour earned his fourth career save...threw 2.0 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk and fanning two batters.
Scott Bandura (2-for-3) knocked his fifth home run with Sacramento, a two-out, 394-foot, two-run shot to right field...all five of his home runs have come with two outs...extended his hitting streak to 12-straight games, his longest streak since hitting safely in 13-straight games from June 24-July 6, 2025 with High-A Eugene...he is batting .440 (22-for-50) with three doubles, two home runs, 12 RBI, eight walks, four stolen base, a .508 on-base percentage and a 1.128 OPS during that streak since July 17...also has a 28-game on-base streak dating back to June 25, the longest active on-base streak in the PCL.
Turner Hill went 2-for-4 with a double, his team-leading 30th multi-hit game....extended his hitting streak to 16-straight games, the longest hitting streak by a River Cat this season, and longest active hitting streak in the PCL...he is batting .462 (30-for-65) with four doubles, two triples, two home runs, 11 RBI, six walks, seven stolen bases, a .677 slugging percentage and a 1.184 OPS during his hitting streak dating back to July 8...the last River Cat to have a 16-plus-game hitting streak was Jerar Encarnacion, who hit in 18-straight from July 4-31, 2024.
Parks Harber went 1-for-5...he has hit safely in 11 of his 12 games with the River Cats, batting .364 (20-for-55) with three doubles, one home run, 11 RBI, three walks, one stolen base, a .407 on-base percentage and an .880 OPS.
Jonah Cox (MLR) went 2-for-5, his 18th multi-hit game of the season (16 with Richmond, 1 with San Francisco)...a single in the third marking his first career Triple-A hit...tripled in the sixth, his seventh three-bagger of the season (6 with Richmond, 1 with San Francisco).
Will Brennan (0-for-4) did not hit, ending his 11-game hitting streak.
