San Jose SaberCats News Release

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose SaberCats announced today that they have been assigned 2014 Second-Team All-Arena offensive lineman Colin Madison.

Madison (6-4 310, Temple) started 17 games for the Pittsburgh Power in 2014, where he was named Second-Team All-Arena offensive lineman.

"Colin has proved to be one of the best offensive linemen in the league," said Owner and Head Coach Darren Arbet. "His ability as an effective blocker as well as his ability to catch the ball in screen plays are valuable assets for this team."

In 2013, Madison started 14 games for the Chicago Rush, where he hauled in five receptions for 64 yards and three touchdowns as well as anchoring the Rush's offensive line.

Madison was brought in by the Baltimore Ravens (NFL) in 2011 as an undrafted free agent, but was subsequently waived during the pre-season.

A three year starter at Temple, Madison earned First-Team All-MAC honors his senior year in 2010. During his junior campaign, Madison was named the team's Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2009.
