Rush To Co-Sponsor North Carolina Evaluation Camp January 26

December 5, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Chicago Rush News Release

The Chicago Rush is joining forces with Exact Sports and its Player Assessment Program to offer the first-ever pro football evaluation camp - unleashing an exciting new concept for players wanting to make their mark in pro football.

The evaluation camp will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, at Gus Purcell Stadium in Charlotte, NC - located at 2400 Colony Road. The cost of the camp is $75 for those who register in advance or $85 on the day of the camp.

In an effort to extend the value of the traditional open-tryout camp beyond the final whistle, the Rush and Exact Sports are giving players a legion of materials to improve individual ability as well as directly market themselves to more than 100 professional teams. Each player will receive a complete breakdown of their physical and mental ability to enhance personal training and development.

Players will compete in one-on-one drills. The video, along with the extensive evaluation of physical ability, neurocognition, and athletic attitude and motivation, will be sent to more than 100 pro teams including the NFL, AFL, CFL, af2, NIFL, UIFL, AIFL and the CIFL.

"We are excited to partner with Exact Sports to give players an opportunity to showcase their talents and improve their game," said Rush vice president of player personnel Brian Schwartze, who will be attending the camp. "Other camps send testing results to pro teams, but coaches want to see the video. This will be a legitimate chance for players to market their skills in a way that has never been done before. "

For more information about the camp, and to register in advance, players may visit www.ProFootballEvaluationCamp.com or call Exact Sports at (319) 621-5075.
