April 29, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Chicago Rush News Release

The Chicago Rush announced today it has signed kicker Dan Frantz to a three-year contract and activated FB/LB Charlie Cook from the league's Injured Reserve list. To make room for Cook on the roster, the Rush placed lineman Curtis Eason on IR with a shoulder injury.

Frantz spent seven weeks with Chicago earlier in the season while kicker Keith Gispert was on Injured Reserve. He converted 32 of 35 extra point attempts and eight of 13 field goals, including a career-long 52-yarder March 5 vs. Dallas.

Cook has missed the team's last three games with a knee injury suffered in the team's April 2 loss in Orlando.

Chicago travels to Atlanta this Saturday, April 29, at 6 p.m. to play the defending National Conference champion Georgia Force. The team returns home to Allstate Arena to play Utah on Saturday May 6, in Chicago's final regular season home game of the season. Fans wishing to purchase tickets to the Utah game may order by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212, or by visiting the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com.
