EDMONTON, ALBERTA- As the Edmonton Rush get set to battle The Minnesota Swarm at the team's fourth home game, they will also continue to offer an unsurpassed entertainment environment with Canada's premiere hip-hop group Swollen Members performing at half-time.
Swollen Members have played an important role in evolving the face of the Canadian music scene with their rare and rugged brand of hip-hop. They have captured the imagination of the global hip-hop underground and captivated crowds around the globe with their energetic live shows.
Rush fans could win a chance to meet Swollen Members at a private VIP Party at Dante's Bistro, World Pub and Sky Lounge. Ticket holders can visit www.edmontonrush.com to enter their seat number and section, or can stop by the game day office at north guest services on the north concourse on game-day to enter to win. The winner will be announced at half-time and will attend the private reception and official after party following the game.
Also performing at the February 3rd game is Kreesha Turner, who will sing the Canadian and American national anthems. Recently discovered by local radio station 91.7 The Bounce, Kreesha's hit single Bounce with Me is climbing the Canadian pop and urban music charts.
