Chicago Rush News Release

The Chicago Rush has partnered with LifeSource Blood Services to sponsor its second-annual blood drive Saturday, May 15, from noon to 5 p.m.

The Rush organization and LifeSource are asking Arena Football fans to stop by the Chicago Rush office, located at O'Hare Plaza, 8735 W. Higgins Road in Chicago, and donate blood to help stock Chicagoland hospitals. Each person who donates blood will receive a complimentary ticket to one of the team's final two home games – either May 16 against the Dallas Desperados or May 23 versus the Indiana Firebirds.

Chicago Rush players and Adrenaline Rush Dancers will be on hand throughout the day to greet fans and sign autographs. In addition, LifeSource staff will be taking pictures of donors with players and dancers.

The Rush also is offering donors the opportunity to purchase additional tickets to the Dallas and Indiana games at discounted prices. Kickoff for both games at Allstate Arena is 2 p.m.

"Last year's blood drive was a big success," said Rush senior vice president/general manager Mike Polisky. "Through the support of many donors, we were able to help Chicagoland's hospitals with one of their biggest needs. We hope this year's blood drive will have an even larger impact, with even more fans choosing to donate."

Prospective donors must be at least 17-years-old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health (no cold or flu symptoms). To reserve a time to donate, or for more information about the blood drive, fans can contact LifeSource at (847) 803-7943. Walk-ins on May 15 also will be accepted.

Fans unable to donate blood who wish to purchase individual game tickets to the Dallas or Indiana games may order by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212 or by visiting the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also may be purchased in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or the Allstate Arena box office.
