Runners Read at State Street

Topeka Pilots News Release
In the midst of a seven-game winning streak, the Runners took time out of their busy schedule to read some books to the kids at State Street Elementary.
Ryan Hutchinson, Dom Lutz, Matt Jennings, and Jack DeMatteo visited four kindergarten classes at the request of State Street's Mrs. Latimer. The literary theme this week was Christmas, so each player read a couple of holiday themed books to the delight of the class. Following the reading, the players answered questions and talked about school, hockey, and whatever else was on their minds. Each student received bookmarks from Cold Stone Creamery as well as gift bags courtesy of The Spectacle.
