Rugby ATL News Release

ATLANTA - At its halfway point in the 2023 season, Atlanta's Major League Rugby team, Rugby ATL, announces new official team partners and sponsors to support its mission of promoting rugby in Atlanta and beyond. Georgia Natural Gas © has joined as the Official Natural Gas Provider for Rugby ATL and the Rugby ATL Foundation. A collection of local, national, and international sponsors have also joined on in support of Rugby ATL, including the University of Wollongong, Post Meridiem Spirit Company, Tito's Handmade Vodka, and Wintergreen. DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunbee has joined as the Official Hotel Partner. Café I Am has become the exclusive catering partner for the Terrapin Terrance and traditional post-match player meal.

"We couldn't be more excited about our new partnership with Rugby ATL and the Rugby ATL Foundation," says Aimee Henderson, Director, Retail Marketing and Branding for Georgia Natural Gas © (GNG). "GNG and Rugby ATL are deeply embedded in our community and strive to improve Atlanta. Rugby ATL's relentlessness on the pitch has inspired us to be bold. That's why every time Rugby ATL wins a match in their 2023 season, GNG will offset one ton of carbon emissions from the atmosphere through our Greener Life© program. And with their four wins to date, we are already up to four tons of offset emissions."

"Rugby is the ultimate team sport, and just like on the pitch, Rugby ATL relies on committed and enthusiastic teammates from our community. We're thankful to our new partners for sharing our vision to expand the game of rugby in Atlanta and surrounding areas," said Rugby ATL President Amanda Windsor White. "Our sponsors' support enables us to continue with our signature aggressive and competitive style on the pitch and provide a top-notch fan experience for the people of Atlanta- teamwork at its finest."
